Muslim Ladies’ Club

In 1920, the Muslim Ladies’ Club named after Ali Bayramov was established. Jeyran Bayramova, Ayna Sultanova, Masma Mammadova, Malaknisa Malikova were active members of the club. The department of visual arts in the society was entrusted to Ms. Kaysar Kashiyeva. She was the first female Muslim artist. At that time, Kaysar Khanum was known as one of the active members of Transcaucasia Muslim Ladies’ Benevolent Society. In 1923, the "Eastern Woman" magazine began to be published in the club. At that time, the Muslim Ladies’ Club, as well as the "Eastern Woman" magazine published under the club, were very popular in the society. In 1936, in connection with the 15th anniversary of the Muslim Ladies’ Club named after Ali Bayramov, Gulara Gadirbayova wrote a book called "History of a Palace".
